Our approach to corporate responsibility

At C WorldWide, corporate responsibility is embedded in how we think, invest, and operate. Creating long-term value means taking ownership of our impact on people, society, and the environment.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, The Responsible Organisation, is structured around three pillars: People & Communities, Climate & Nature, and Culture & Ethics. Our framework is aligned with the UN Global Compact and selected UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring our efforts are globally anchored and locally relevant.

Across the organisation, we take concrete steps to reduce our environmental footprint, invest in people and well-being, and engage with local communities. We work with transparency and integrity and view responsibility not as a reporting exercise, but as a natural part of how we do business.

Our initiatives mainly support the People & Communities and Climate & Nature pillars, while Culture & Ethics provides the governance and values that guide how our work is planned, carried out, and followed up.

RESPONSIBILITY IN ACTION

Social and environmental impact

From classroom to capital markets

Since 2020, we have collaborated with Copenhagen Business School’s ESG Minor programme to bring responsible investment topics into an applied market context. Students work on real-world cases that reflect current sustainability challenges in capital markets. In 2025, casework covered topics such as Responsible Artificial Intelligence and ESG backlash, resulting in structured analyses and practical recommendations. The collaboration contributes to the development of sustainability-related competencies and supports a pipeline of future professionals with ESG expertise.

Education for all with Matematikcenter

Through our partnership with Matematikcenter, a Danish non-profit organisation, we support free mathematics tutoring and exam preparation through the Eksamenshjælp programme. Employees volunteer as tutors, helping students strengthen core skills and build confidence during key educational stages. We also develop practice-oriented materials showing how mathematics is applied in our daily work. By connecting theory to real-world use cases, we offer insight into practical applications and financial career paths. These efforts promote inclusion and equal learning opportunities.

A Christmas that matters

In collaboration with Red Cross Copenhagen, we host an annual Christmas event for vulnerable families as part of our community engagement efforts. The event supports approximately 60 children through organised activities, gift distribution, and a safe and inclusive setting during the holiday season. Beyond the immediate support provided, the initiative contributes to social inclusion and community well-being and reflects our long-term engagement with civil society organisations.

Cycling for Cancer

Every year, employees take part in Cycling4Cancer, a 24-hour fundraising event that combines physical activity with a social purpose. The organisation links its support to the total number of kilometres cycled, turning collective effort into financial contributions for cancer research and patient support. This initiative not only strengthens employee engagement but also raises awareness and provides long-term backing for important health-related causes.

Inclusive supplier partnerships

We collaborate with FRAK as part of our structured approach to responsible supplier selection and engagement. Through this partnership, vulnerable young people gain meaningful work experience by assisting with maintenance of our rooftop garden and indoor plants alongside skilled professional gardeners. The initiative promotes social inclusion, practical skill development, and urban biodiversity, while generating shared value for both the local community and our workplace environment.

Net Zero in practice

To address residual emissions that cannot be eliminated through operational measures, we apply a transparent, science-based approach to climate compensation. Emissions are offset through a Gold Standard-certified initiative and complemented by investments in nature-based solutions in Denmark through EcoTree. This includes support for Margreteskoven on the island of Orø, a reforestation project designed to create long-term carbon sinks and enhance biodiversity, soil health, and ecosystem resilience. Employee site visits provide direct insight into project outcomes and reinforce organisational engagement with climate and nature-related action.
